Wolters Kluwer observes 12 holidays each year. Any holidays not
designated by the businesses are allocated to employees
as optional or floating holidays. Optional holidays
are referred to as OPT time in our time reporting
system, EDTC.
The holidays
are allocated to active employees per the following
schedule:
1) If
4 optional days are available; then 1 day is allocated
on the first business day of each of the months
of January, April, July, and October
2) If
3 optional days are available; then 1 day is allocated
on the first business day of each of the months
of January, May, and September
3) If
2 optional days are available; then 1 day is allocated
on the first business day of each of the months
of January and July
4) If
1 optional day is available; then 1 day is allocated
on the first business day of January
